I also knew Daven Jenkins the cellist who went to Julliard–we dated in high school and were in Maryland honor orchestras together (I play violin) and I had not kept in touch and was very shocked to find out about his death–could not find much of an obituary though other than that he played in the NYC Ballet orchestra–can anybody provide any more information? Thank you!

who are you? what is your bio? are you the cellist Daven Jenkins that studied at Juilliard?
Elle,
Unfortunately, my talents extend only to some bad cover songs on my Fender Stratocaster, nothing so developed nor advanced as a cellist from Julliard.
elle,
The “Daven Jenkins” you are inquiring after unfortunately and synchronistically suffered a heart attack and died days before your post.
I had the good fortune to know Daven when both of us were teenagers in Washington DC and took him for his first NYC Ballet Performance in 1975.
Sorry about the sad news — he was a good and generous soul.
